The Mercedes-Benz W124 was a car produced between 1985 and 1996. Designed by Bruno Sacco, which at the time was head of styling at Mercedes, the car was delivered through a wide choice of body styles and powertrains. The W124 was and still is a car that is acclaimed for its stunning build quality and reliability. Especially long-lasting and hard-wearing, its Diesel engines were favourites among taxi drivers in Germany and many other countries throughout the world. The W124’s top of the line was the 500E, a high performance sedan, jointly developed by Porsche.
